An exquisite Victorian Rock Crystal intaglio fob seal, crafted in richly chased 9ct Gold. The architectural urn-like handle rises over a gadrooned dome, framed by rope-twist and beaded borders, while foliate and scroll engravings add delightful texture and depth. The base holds a clear Rock Crystal tablet, intaglio-carved with a heraldic crest for a refined, classical finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 22mm long x 16mm wide.
Rock Crystal is 13.5mm long x 10mm wide.
WEIGHT: 6.6g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, carved Rock Crystal intaglio coat of arms (foiled).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Rock Crystal intaglio is bright with minor edge abrasions and light surface wear commensurate with age. The 9ct Gold mount is secure with a pleasing antique patina and gentle softening to the high points; the fixed bail is sound. No visible repairs or alterations.
