A romantic Victorian bracelet with a sculptural, panelled silhouette, this piece pairs luminous White Chalcedony discs with ornate Sterling Silver scrollwork cartouches crowned by vivid purple gems. The chalcedony glows with a soft, opalescent sheen while the purple centres bring a lively flash of colour, creating a bold, coin-like rhythm around the wrist.

Articulated for a beautiful drape, the bracelet is finished with a neat box-and-tongue clasp and a short safety chain for added peace of mind. A subtle, time-earned patina accentuates the silver’s curves and detail. Two of the purple stones are later Purple Paste replacements (one beside the clasp and one at the centre), blending harmoniously with the Natural Amethysts—an elegant Victorian jewel, circa 1860, ready to wear and enjoy.

MEASUREMENTS: Bracelet is 7" (18cm) long.
Links are 25mm long x 20mm wide.
Amethysts are 8.5mm long x 6mm wide.
WEIGHT: 34.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, White Chalcedony, Natural Amethysts, Purple Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The White Chalcedony discs show light surface abrasions commensurate with age; the purple stones display minor facet and surface wear with bright colour retained. The Sterling Silver panels, articulation, and box clasp with safety chain are secure, with a gentle patina that enhances the detail. Two stones are later Purple Paste replacements (one adjacent to the clasp and one centrally), and some small screws to the backs of certain links are absent; this does not affect the security or wear of the bracelet.
