This Victorian Silver Scottish Agate brooch is packed with antique charm and character! Crafted from lustrous Silver and backed with 9ct Gold, this large Victorian brooch is coloured with a myriad of gemstones and is a true feast for the eyes!

At the bottom of the brooch sits a plump 6.60ct Amethyst, adorned by three lemon-hued Citrine stones, the soft yellows and lilac tones complementing each other wonderfully. She is complete with six earthy Agate stones, each saturated with earthy tones.

A stellar example of Victorian craftsmanship, this antique Scottish brooch is a beautiful piece, full of character and charm.

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 70mm long x 57.5mm wide.
Amethyst is 17.5mm long x 13.5mm wide, weighing approx. 6.60ct.
Citrines graduate from 12mm long x 9.5mm wide to 13mm long x 10.5mm wide, weighing approx. 9.00ct combined.
Agates are approx 10.5mm long x 6mm wide.
Weight: 34.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, backed with 9ct Gold, Amethyst (6.60ct), Citrine (9.00ct), Agate.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Victorian Silver Scottish Agate brooch is in wonderful condition. She is crafted meticulously, with each gemstone securely set. The Amethyst and Citrine stones have some fleabites commensurate with age, however this is difficult to see without a jeweller's loupe. With her pin in perfect working order, you can wear her with the utmost confidence!
