Ethereal and refined, this Victorian “Pools of Light” locket captures the magic of Domed Rock Crystal within a sleek Silver frame. Two high domes create a luminous, magnifying glow, set simply in narrow rubover bezels with delicate coin-edge detailing for a quietly luxurious finish.

Hinged to the side with an opposing snap closure, the double-window construction lets light pour through for a softly optical effect. Minimalist and timeless, it is fitted with a top loop and jump ring so it’s ready to glide onto your favourite chain.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 31mm long including jump ring.
Locket is 24mm wide.
WEIGHT: 11.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Domed Rock Crystal.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Rock Crystal domes are bright with no chips or cracks, showing only light surface abrasions commensurate with age. The Silver frame is well preserved with gentle patina; the hinge and snap closure are well aligned and secure. No visible repairs.
