These Victorian “Pools of Light” earrings capture the ethereal glow of Rock Crystal orbs, suspended in decorative Silver wirework and poised from elegant 9ct Gold hooks. The clear crystals seem to hold a drop of moonlight within, their high domes magnifying and refracting every flicker of illumination for a soft, luminous aura.

Artfully caged in twisted rope-like Silver settings with charming knotted terminals, the crystals sway from long shepherd hooks in warm 9ct Gold for a refined two-tone finish. Rock Crystals measure 11mm in diameter, weighing approx. 19.20ct combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold hooks, Rock Crystal (19.20ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Silver settings are secure with gentle age-related oxidation in the recesses; 9ct Gold hooks are sound and well-shaped. No visible repairs or alterations, with minimal wear commensurate with age and careful use.
