ERA: Victorian, c.1870. Later added bolt ring.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 18" or 45.5cm long.
Chain is 5mm wide.
Weight: 21.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver.

STAMPS: STERLING on bolt ring.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD: This Victorian Silver pierced star link chain is in good condition. The links are securely connected, and although some of them have sustained some damage, including distortion and dings, this does not detract from the overall impact of the piece. The Silver has accrued an admirable patina over the years, adding to her antique charm. The pierced star details have remained defined and stand out against the darkened Silver.
