Delicate and romantic, this Victorian foliate charm blooms with sparkling Paste in sculpted settings, forming a petite leaf. The old-mine and old-European-cut stones catch the light beautifully, their antique faceting lending a soft, candlelit twinkle.

Crafted in Silver with an 18ct Gold layer to the back and finished with an 18ct Gold hasp and jump ring, it wears a timeless two-tone allure so characteristic of the period. Once a brooch and now a dainty pendant, it’s a charming slice of 19th-century elegance ready to grace any chain.

Item Details

ERA: Victorian, c.1880.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 31mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 17.5mm wide.
Paste graduate from 2mm to 4mm in diameter.
Equivalent of approx. 0.70ct combined Diamond weight.
WEIGHT: 1.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver with 18ct Gold layer on back, 18ct Gold hasp and jump ring, Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Paste stones are bright with light, age-appropriate abrasions under magnification only. The Silver settings are secure with a pleasing, even patina, and the 18ct Gold hasp and jump ring are in fine order. Previously a brooch; the conversion to a pendant has been neatly executed with no distracting evidence of prior fittings from the front, and overall wear is minimal for age.
