MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 16" or 40.5cm long.
Chain links are 14mm long x 5.5mm wide.
Weight: 18.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

GOOD VERY. This Victorian Silver engraved book chain is in great condition. The Silver has a lustrous shine and has accrued a desirable patina that makes the engraved details pop. The links are smooth with a substantial pleasing weight on the neck. There are one or two links that are slightly misshapen, due to the fact they are near the bolt ring, but they are still functional and have not effected the impact of the engravings on the links. The bolt ring is in perfect working condition, allowing for safe and secure wear! A robust antique Victorian book-chain collar you can enjoy for many years to come.
