A rare pair of Victorian “Pools of Light” earrings, featuring clear Rock Crystal orbs that seem to glow with an inner light when they catch the light. These magical crystals are framed in delicate Silver floral mounts and suspended from 9ct Gold hooks for comfortable wear.

Each orb measures 12mm in diameter, with the spherical Rock Crystal beautifully magnifying and reflecting its surroundings. This optical effect was highly prized in the Victorian era, and these earrings capture all the enchantment of that timeless design.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 29mm long from the top of the hooks.
Rock Crystal orbs measure 12mm in diameter.
Weight: 6.8g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold hooks, Rock Crystal.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Rock Crystal orbs are free from chips and beautifully clear. The Silver mounts are secure, and the 9ct Gold hooks are in fine condition. A rare and enchanting antique pair.
