Sumptuously detailed and irresistibly tactile, this Victorian Gold gilt bracelet embodies the romance of Etruscan Revival design. Alternating ornate chased globes with luminous, milky Chalcedony spheres, each golden orb is embellished with rope-twist and granule accents and dotted with bright Turquoise cabochons for a lively hit of colour. The articulated construction gives beautiful movement, culminating in a charming acorn-like terminal drop.

The palette of rich yellow, turquoise-blue and soft moonlit white feels both opulent and serene, while the hand-finished details speak to its 19th-century craftsmanship. MEASUREMENTS: Bracelet is 8" (20.5cm) long.
Gilt orbs are 9.5mm in diameter
Chalcedony beads are 11mm in diameter.
Turquoise cabochons are 2.5mm in diameter
Terminal chain drop is 61mm long
WEIGHT: 22.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Gold gilt metal, Turquoise, Chalcedony.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Chalcedony beads are bright and smooth with no obvious chips, and Turquoise cabochons are secure with minimal surface wear. The gilt metal shows a pleasing, even patina with crisp chased detail and secure links throughout. No visible repairs or alterations.
