Magnificent Victorian star drop earrings crafted from sparkling Cut Steel, dating to circa 1860. Each earring features two articulated star motifs, a smaller accent star at the top and a larger, dazzling star below, suspended from Sterling Silver French hooks for comfortable wear.

Every facet of the Cut Steel has been hand-cut and polished to catch the light beautifully, including the small joining sections which are also faceted, a rare original feature that highlights their quality. Bold, bright, and full of antique glamour, these statement stars are a true find.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings drops are 62mm long.
Largest star is 27mm in diameter.
smaller top star is 13mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 15g (combined).

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver hooks, Cut Steel.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The Cut Steel stars are in lovely condition with all facets intact and no missing or damaged pieces. The faceted connecting sections appear original, which is rare for earrings of this type. Bright and rust-free, with excellent movement and sparkle.
