This Victorian snake pendant coils protectively around a banded Agate, its scales and head finely modelled in rich 18ct Gold. The snake’s head is set with a bright Turquoise cabochon, adding a charming pop of colour to the warm tones of the Gold and the natural striations of the Agate.

To the reverse, a glass locket panel offers space for a tiny keepsake or portrait — a sentimental feature beloved in the 19th century. A striking symbol of eternal love and protection, this piece captures the Victorian fascination with snakes in jewellery.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 26mm long x 23mm wide (not including bail).

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Banded Agate, Turquoise.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

状態

VERY GOOD: Minor chip to the rear glass locket panel and slight imperfections to the Gold on the reverse. From the front, the pendant is in excellent condition, with all stones secure and a beautiful antique finish.
