This enchanting Victorian dragonfly pendant captures the romantic whimsy of 19th-century jewellery design. Crafted in 9ct Gold and gilded in rich 18ct Gold, the pendant features softly lustrous Natural Pearls across the delicate wings, and a gleaming deep blue 0.20ct Natural Sapphire body.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 38mm long inc. jump ring.
Wingspan is 27mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 1.5mm to 2mm in diameter.
Sapphire is 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.20ct.
WEIGHT: 2.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, gilded in 18ct Gold, Natural Sapphire (0.20ct), Natural Pearl

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Sapphire is bright and secure, and the Pearls have beautiful natural lustre with no losses or damage. The gilding remains radiant, and the pendant is in superb antique condition overall.
