This outstanding Victorian 9ct Gold Pearl engraved oval locket exudes antique charm! Brimming with intricate details engraved into luscious 9ct Gold, you can admire the skilled craftsmanship from every angle.

A single ivy leaf is depicted on one side, inlaid with silvery Seed Pearls and framed by a scalloped edge and whimsical patterns. On the other, a border of ivy leaves surrounds a blank cartouche to which you add a personal engraving.

With ivy leaves symbolising everlasting love and space for two precious photographs to be added inside, this Victorian Gold locket would make a wonderful gift choice or sentimental addition to your collection!

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 41mm long inc bale.
Locket is 24mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 1mm to 2.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 10.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold Back & Front, Metal frames for strength & durability, Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Victorian 9ct Gold Pearl engraved oval locket is in very good condition. The Gold is buttery throughout and the engraved details are defined. There is some minor age-related surface wear noticeable under close inspection, but the locket has kept its form well with no major dings or scuffs. The locket does require a firm push to open, however, this does ensure that it stays securely shut once your chosen photographs have been placed inside. With a large bale to finish, you can suspend this antique Gold locket for a chain of your choice and wear it with absolute confidence!
