Fully hallmarked to the year 1878, this Victorian Ceylon Moonstone ring is just magical! Adored for the beautiful blue adularescence they exude, the plump Ceylon Moonstone cabochon is displayed in a bezel setting and poised upon a chubby 9ct Gold band, allowing the gemstone to take centre stage.

Ring band is 4.5mm wide.

HALLMARKS: WM Makers mark, 9, .375, Birmingham Anchor, Date letter b for the year 1878.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: Her Ceylon Moonstone exceeds all expectations, possessing an ethereal glow, free from chips or scratches to note. Although there is very slight wear to her bezel setting, she remains super secure, so you can wear this antique ring with confidence. There is some discolouration to the Gold surrounding the Moonstone, however this adds to the antique charm of the ring. The hallmarks on the inside of her shank are clear to the naked eye, allowing us to accurately date the ring to 1878!
