Richly detailed and beautifully wearable, these Victorian Etruscan Revival drop earrings marry warm 9ct Gold with the saturated glow of Garnet. Each ornate, medallion-like pendant is framed by concentric beaded and scalloped borders with delicate foliate scrollwork, drawing the eye to a single oval Garnet of deep mulberry-red. The articulated shepherd hooks lend a graceful sway and lovely movement with every step.

The Garnets (approx. 1.20cts combined) are set in closed-back bezels that intensify their colour, while the softly patinated Gold highlights the fine chasing and milgrain textures. An elegant, feminine pair that captures the romance of mid-19th-century design with timeless poise.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 34mm long including hooks.
Drop panels are 17mm long x 14mm wide.
Garnets measure 6mm long x 4.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.20ct combined.
WEIGHT: 2.3g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet (1.20ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Garnets are bright and lively with no eye-visible chips or abrasions; facet edges remain crisp with minimal wear. The 9ct Gold settings and hooks are secure with light surface wear and a gentle patina in the recesses, consistent with age. The reverse shows a small historic fittings mark and slight difference in finish around one fitting, not affecting durability or wear.
