ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 24mm long including jump ring.
Garnet measures 8.5mm long x 6mm wide, weighing approx. 1.90ct.
WEIGHT: 1.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet (1.90ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Garnet cabochon is intact with only minor natural surface rubs visible under close inspection, and it is securely set. The 9ct Gold shows light surface wear and a gentle patina appropriate for age, including a couple of dark spots, with crisp openwork and sound joints.
