A charismatic Victorian spider pendant, crafted in warm 9ct Gold with a luscious deep-red Garnet cabochon forming the abdomen and a bright step-cut Emerald at the head. The gems sit in neat, textured bezels, while eight slender, curving legs lend a wonderfully naturalistic silhouette with a dash of gothic whimsy.

Beautifully hand-fabricated, the piece has a sculptural, three-dimensional presence and a refined high polish. An integral hasp with an added round jump ring makes it effortless to style on your favourite chain.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 30mm long.
Pendant is 30mm wide.
Garnet measures 9mm long x 7mm wide, weighing approx. 2.50ct.
WEIGHT: 3.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet (2.50ct), Emerald.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The stones are bright and well-presented with minimal surface wear visible under magnification. The Gold shows only light, age-appropriate surface wear; settings and legs are secure and well-formed. No evidence of later restoration is observed.
