This exquisite antique Sapphire Diamond ring will look resplendent adorning your hand! Crafted from solid 18ct Gold, the ring face is inlaid with three natural Sapphires and four scintillating Diamonds that spread the width of the finger, providing wonderful coverage.

The central Sapphire projects a deep saturated blue hue, flanked by lighter, cornflower blue Sapphires, each displayed within elegant 18ct Gold claws and weighing 0.86cts combined. In typical Victorian fashion, the Diamonds are set within Silver bezels to enhance their bright sparkle.

2x Sapphires are 3.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.46ct combined.

Diamonds are approx. 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.12ct combined.
Weight: 2.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Silver Diamond settings, Natural Sapphires (0.86ct), Old Mine Cut Diamonds (0.12ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The gemstones are all present and securely set, with only some small fleabites on the central Sapphire noticeable under close inspection. The gems all have crisp facets that sparkle beautifully under the light. There is some light patina within the settings, adding to the ring's antique charm. The band is smooth with only mild surface wear, commensurate with age, and remains robust and comfortable to wear.
