We are in love with this Victorian 18ct Gold plated elephant hair bangle! The antique bangle is a 18ct Gold plated Gold band and a strand of elephant hair joined by 18ct Gold plated crimp connectors! Elephant hair jewellery became very popular in the 19th century and we can certainly see why!

The single strand was taken from the elephants tail, and wrapped in Gold. Elephant jewellery is seen to prevent illness and harm and well as bring love and luck! She can be worn on her own or in a stack! Bring the safari to your jewellery box and have a bangle that is totally magical!

Bangle is 5mm wide.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
