MEASUREMENTS: Ring band tapers from 7.5mm wide at the front to 2mm wide at the
back.
Opals measure approx 2.5–3mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.9g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal, Diamond, Enamel.
STAMPS: Crown (other stamps obscured).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: The Opals are luminous with lovely play-of-colour, and the Diamonds are bright and securely set. The Gold remains in excellent condition. Much of the black enamel has been lost with age, but the ring retains a wonderful aura and antique charm overall.
