This Victorian 18ct Gold Garnet cabochon rose locket is a true beauty to behold! Inlaid with a wine hued cabochon-cut Garnet, this solid 18ct Gold locket is akin to the Tudor Rose, making this the perfect piece for history enthusiasts.

Beautifully formed from sumptuous 18ct Gold, this rose opens to present a locket compartment that has retained its original glass pane, in which you can place gems or a photo of your loved one. All this treasure needs is a chunky Gold chain from which you can suspend it - we think a dog-clip would be the perfect match!

MEASUREMENTS: 27.5mm top to bottom, including jump ring.
Rose is 19.5mm diameter.
Garnet is 8.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 9.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT. This Victorian 18ct Gold Garnet cabochon rose locket is in excellent condition. This pretty has lasted beautifully well, with very minimal wear to note. The Garnet is secure and smooth, free from chips or scuffs. The inside of the locket has lasted well, with only subtle wear to note commensurate with age. There are one or two marks ib the top from where the Gold has been tested, but this is only minimal and isn't visible when worn. The glass panel is present and the locket closes with a "click".
