Opals and Pearls fill the six-pointed stars of these Victorian 15ct Gold drop earrings. A larger Pearl anchors each centre, surrounded by vibrant Opals and smaller Pearls at the tips. Green, blue and pink flashes play against the softer lustre of the Pearls, bringing a lively contrast to the celestial design.

Suspended from simple hooks through small connecting rings, the stars have a little movement beneath the ear. Variations in the Opal and Pearl colouring give each earring its own character.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 30.5mm long including hooks.
Stars measure 17mm long x 13mm wide.
Opals measure 2.5mm in diameter.
Pearls graduate from 1mm to 4mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.2g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal, Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The Opals are vibrant and the Pearls retain their natural nacre, with no major signs of wear. There is some wear to the Gold, particularly across the back, which is not noticeable from the front. Earring hooks are secure and ready to wear.
