ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 22.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket is 15mm wide.
WEIGHT: 2.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Light surface scuffs and a couple of shallow dings commensurate with age; the engraving remains beautifully defined with only gentle softening at the high points. The hinge is well-aligned and the locket opens and closes securely. Inside, the glazing shows light abrasions; no significant dents or repairs observed.
