Beautiful Details

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 30mm including jump ring.
Book is 22.5mm long x 18.5mm wide.
Weight: 5.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, glass.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT. This Victorian 15ct Gold engraved book locket is in excellent condition. The outside locket is gorgeous, with all of the details remaining absolutely beautiful. The locket has lasted exquisitely well through time, and the only section of wear to note is on the inside of the door, having some discolouration. The book closes securely keeping its contents safe inside, with the closure keeping everything shut.
