This superb French Belle Époque pendant is a true masterpiece of late 19th-century jewellery design. Crafted in 18ct Gold with Silver settings, it dazzles with vivid Pink Tourmalines, shimmering rose-cut Diamonds and luminous natural Pearls. The feminine bow and garland of flowers reflect the elegance and exquisite craftsmanship of the Belle Époque era, making this a jewel of exceptional beauty and rarity.

The gem-set bale features a cushion-cut blush Pink Tourmaline surrounded by a halo of vivid Tourmalines and Diamonds, leading down to an ornate bow and floral frame set with further Diamonds and Pearls. At the centre hangs a striking pear-shaped Pink Tourmaline drop, full of vibrant colour and life, with a delicate natural Pearl drop completing the design. French eagle head hallmarks confirm its origin and quality.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 76mm long x 33.5mm wide
Bail measures 13.5mm long x 10.5mm wide.
Cushion Tourmaline is approx. 7.5mm long x 4mm wide, weighing approx. 0.50ct.
Central pear Tourmaline is approx. 14.5mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 1.30ct.
Square Tourmaline is 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.15ct.
Total Pink Tourmaline weight is approx. 2.05ct.
Weight: 14.5g.

MATERIALS: 18ct Gold, Silver settings, Pink Tourmaline (2.05ct), Rose-Cut Diamonds, Natural Pearls.

STAMPS: French eagle head (on bale and back of drop).

EXCELLENT. This pendant is in remarkable condition for its age. The Tourmalines are vibrant and well-matched, the Diamonds sparkle beautifully, and the Pearls are intact. The Gold retains its fine detail throughout, making this an outstanding collector’s piece.
