This outstanding Victorian locket has been formed from solid, rosy 18ct Gold and is inlaid with 0.76cts of scintillating Diamonds - the central Diamond weighs 0.45ct alone! The Diamonds are displayed within a bold flaming star motif, decorated with ornate Silver details, creating a striking contrast.

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 62mm long inc. bale.
Locket is 27mm wide.
Old Mine Cut Diamond is approx. 4.5mm long x 4.3mm wide, weighing approx 0.45ct.
Outer Diamonds are 2.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.24ct combined.
Smallest Diamonds are 1.6mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.07ct combined.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 0.76ct.
Weight: 17g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Silver settings, Diamond (0.76ct).

STAMPS: French Eagles head on bale and inside locket on rim.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Gold has a gorgeous rosy hue and the details are all intact, with no dings or scuffs visible on the locket. The Diamonds are bright, securely set, and free from chips or abrasions. The locket requires a firm push to open, but it closes securely so you can use and wear this Victorian locket with utmost confidence!
