Item Details

ERA: Arts and Crafts (1880–1920).

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 80mm long.
Flowerheads are 28mm diameter.
20 x Moonstones (ovals) are 8mm long.
2 x Round Moonstones are 10mm in diameter.
1 x Round Moonstone is 6mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 12g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Moonstone.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Moonstones are bright and well-matched with only the lightest natural surface wear visible under magnification. The Silver settings are secure with crisp prongs and a pleasing, even patina. The long pin and secure catch operate smoothly; the piece has been very well cared for with no visible repairs.
