The stones glow a deep olive-to-yellow green, their crisp facets lending a gem-forward, antique allure. Item Details

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Glass stones measure 8mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 1g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold hooks, Gold-backed Silver settings, Faceted Glass.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The faceted Glass displays light facet wear with tiny edge nicks commensurate with age, retaining attractive colour and sparkle. The Silver settings show patina and the closed backs have minor surface wear; there is some dark solder visible around the back rims from past work typical of period construction. Hooks are sound; one shows a slight bend that does not affect wear.
