This charming Arts & Crafts pendant captures the movement and romance of the era in Sterling Silver and hand-painted blue Enamel. A stylised floral rosette frames a “honeycomb” openwork centre, graduating from deep cobalt to lighter sky tones across the petals and articulated teardrop for a vivid play of colour.

At the heart sits a round Garnet in a neat bezel, its rosy glow a beautiful counterpoint to the cool blues. Refined metal partitions and graceful articulation lend texture and fluidity, making this piece as delightful to wear as it is to admire.

Item Details

ERA: Arts and Crafts c.1890–1910.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 43mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 18mm wide.
Garnet is 3.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.15ct.
WEIGHT: 2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Hand-painted graduated light and dark blue Enamel, Garnet (0.15ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Enamel is crisp and glossy with minimal surface wear; the central Garnet shows slight nicks and abrasions visible under magnification. The Sterling Silver framework is sound with light, age-appropriate patina and secure settings.
