A quintessential token of Victorian romance, this double-heart and bow pendant pairs two luminous, hand-carved heart-shaped Moonstone cabochons with scintillating rose-cut Diamond halos. The hearts are crowned by a graceful ribbon bow accented with a tiny navette Diamond, creating a delicately ornate silhouette that feels both sentimental and luxuriously refined.

Crafted with a Silver setting over a 9ct Gold back, the jewel has that coveted antique two-tone look: a softly aged, Silver front that makes the Diamonds twinkle, contrasted by warm Gold to the reverse. The Moonstones glow with a beautiful adularescent blue-white sheen, while approximately 0.35ct (spread) of rose-cut Diamonds add a captivating antique sparkle. Complete with a fixed top jump ring for easy wear, it exudes unmistakable Victorian charm.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 27mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 24mm long x 22.5mm wide.
Moonstones measure 10mm long x 8.8mm wide, weighing approx. 3.30ct combined.
Diamonds graduate from 0.5mm to 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.35ct combined (spread).
WEIGHT: 6.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back, Silver setting, Moonstone (3.30ct), Rose-cut Diamonds (0.35ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Moonstones are bright with a lovely glow and only light surface wear visible under magnification. Rose-cut Diamonds are lively; the antique cut-down settings show gentle age patina commensurate with Victorian pieces. There is some evidence of a conversion from a brooch on the back, but this has been carried out well and the pendant feels smooth against the skin. Overall crisp and well cared for, with minimal wear consistent with age.
