The honeyed oval links are smooth and glossy, their natural swirls and veils catching the light beautifully, while the heart padlock is adorned with elegant foliate detailing in Sterling Silver Gilt for a richly decorative finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Bracelet is 7 & 1/2" (19cm) long.
Bracelet is 13.5mm wide.
Heart padlock is 47mm long x 34mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver Gilt, Blonde Tortoiseshell.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Tortoiseshell links retain a rich glossy lustre with only light surface abrasions commensurate with age, and no obvious chips or cracks. The Sterling Silver Gilt padlock and fittings are crisp with a gentle, even patina and minor marks from careful wear. No visible repairs or alterations; the piece has been well cared for.
