A luminous Georgian Silver roundel pendant with a dreamy Opaline centre that shimmers lavender-blue with soft pink flashes. At its heart sits a petite cluster of clear Paste, framed by a radiant halo of larger, graduated Paste stones. The crisp concentric “target” motif, closed-back collets and elegant symmetry deliver that sought-after period glamour in a wonderfully wearable design.

The Opaline disc provides a silky glow while the foiled Paste catches the light with charming sparkle. Finished with a 9ct Gold jump ring for a subtle two-tone accent, this pendant is an evocative slice of Georgian style that transitions effortlessly from day to evening.

Item Details

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 36.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 30.5mm in diameter.
Opaline is 21mm in diameter.
Paste stones graduate from 2.5mm to 4mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 11.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold jump ring, Black Dot Paste, Opaline.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Paste stones are bright and secure with minor age-related softening to facets and a touch of clouding to a few foils under magnification. The Opaline centre shows light surface scuffs commensurate with age; the Silver setting and closed back display some wear and gentle tarnish, predominantly to the reverse. No obvious repairs or replaced stones noted, and the piece has been well cared for.
