A lyrical 19th-century French Perpignan Garnet pendant, crafted in warm 18ct Gold and composed as graceful shamrock clusters. Vivid, well-matched Garnets in elegant navette cuts bloom into foliate trios, poised above a pretty articulated drop that catches the light with every movement.

Romantic and refined, the arrangement marries symmetry with softness: navette “leaves” frame a petite round accent and a pear-shaped drop below. MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 35.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 29.5mm wide.
6 x navette Garnets measure 8mm long x 2.5mm wide.
Round Garnet measures 2.5mm in diameter.
Pear Garnet measures 7.5mm long x 4.5mm wide.
Total Garnet weight is approx. 2.30ct.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet (2.30ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: Garnets are bright and well-matched with light surface wear and the occasional tiny nibble at a tip visible under magnification. Settings are secure with prongs intact; the 18ct Gold shows light age-related surface wear and a gentle antique patina. No obvious signs of repair.
