Petite yet enchanting, this Art Nouveau flower brooch blossoms in iridescent Enamel, its colours shading from peach and coral through sunlit yellow to fresh green. A naturalistic ruffled bloom is flanked by two softly veined leaves, all framed by a graceful whiplash stem that captures the movement and poetry of the period.

Hand-fabricated in 18ct Gold with chased detailing, the design is accented by two creamy Pearls—one nestled at the heart of the flower and a dainty dew-drop below. A simple hinge and C-catch complete this delicately sculptural jewel, bringing a touch of romance to any look.

Item Details

ERA: Art Nouveau (1890–1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 28mm long x 22mm wide.
Pearls measure 3mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Enamel, Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Enamel is bright and lustrous with only slight wear on one leaf and minor high-point rubs, not detracting from the beauty of the piece. Pearls are securely set with no obvious damage, and the Gold metalwork shows a gentle, even patina. The pin is straight and the hinge and C-catch function well.
