A striking example of Maireener Shell jewellery, these Victorian earrings are sure to delight! Each earring drop boasts striking Gold-toned petals that fan out to embrace two Tasmanian Maireener Shells, suspended from lengths of chain affixed to solid 9ct Gold hooks.

The Maireener Shells shimmer with flashes of greens and blues, their iridescence shifting as they catch the light. These unique antique earrings are typically Victorian in design and will be unlike any other in your collection!

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 51mm long from the top of the hooks.
Earrings are 17mm wide.
Weight: 3g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold tops, metal chain sections, natural Tasmanian Maireener Shell.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: Each component is securely affixed, and the later added solid 9ct Gold hooks provide comfortable and easy wear. The Shells have an enchanting iridescence, with only one of the Shells having sustained some damage at its tip over the years, which is impressive when considering they are authentic antiques from the Victorian era!
