A rare and beautiful pair of early 19th-century Georgian Girandole earrings crafted in Pinchbeck. These earrings feature ornate foliate tops with three articulated drops, all finely textured and beautifully detailed. Their warm golden hue is bright and lustrous, a testament to the enduring quality of Pinchbeck jewellery of the era.

Exquisitely lightweight and full of movement, these earrings capture the romance and drama of Georgian design. A rare survivor from c.1830, they remain both wearable and wonderfully evocative of the period’s style.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings including hooks are 53mm long x 20mm wide.
Drop length (from bead to base) is 46mm.

MATERIALS: Pinchbeck

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

VERY GOOD: These earrings are in very good antique condition. The colour is bright with minimal wear overall. Some of the lower drops have opened slightly, which may be due to age or design, but they remain secure and wearable. A gorgeous and rare pair of authentic Georgian earrings.
