This exquisite Portuguese Georgian pendant is a remarkable example of early 19th-century craftsmanship, designed as a radiant flower set with foiled Pink Topaz gemstones. The richly coloured stones are arranged in a floral cluster, centred by a vivid 8mm Topaz surrounded by smaller 4.5mm gems, all shimmering with that soft inner glow unique to Georgian foiling.

Finely crafted in 18ct Gold, the setting displays delicate cannetille wirework and tiny Gold leaves, hallmarks of high-quality Iberian workmanship from this period. Romantic, intricate, and wonderfully preserved, it’s a rare and precious survivor from over 200 years ago.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 29mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 26mm in diameter.
Central Pink Topaz measures 8mm in diameter.
Surrounding stones measure approximately 4.5mm in diameter.
Total Topaz weighing is approx. 5.00ct.
WEIGHT: 4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Pink Foiled Topaz (5.00ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Light age-related wear consistent with age. There is a small ding to the rear of the setting, invisible when worn. The front, foiling, and gemstones remain in beautiful condition, bright and secure throughout.
