A charming Edwardian Sterling Silver stamp-holder pendant modelled as a dainty envelope, richly engraved with flowing foliate scrolls and finished with a neat beaded border. Its raised “flap” motif and central stud lend lovely dimension, while the gentle patina in the recesses beautifully accentuates the design.

Both delightful and practical, the hinged case opens to reveal a tidy compartment for stamps and closes securely with a smooth push-fit. It even comes with an antique One Penny stamp for a touch of period romance. Fully hallmarked in Birmingham and dating to 1908, this petite treasure captures the elegance of the Edwardian era in wearable form.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Crisp engravings with only light surface wear and a pleasing, even patina in the recesses. The hinge is secure and the push-fit closure opens and closes as designed with no visible repairs. Clear, legible full English hallmarks for 1908.
