A lyrical Late Georgian drop pendant crafted in warm 15ct Gold and set with a rich, deep-red Garnet cabochon. The two-part articulated design marries a pierced domed rosette with an openwork scrolling cartouche, its curves accentuated by delicate granule accents and a graceful piecrust setting that cradles the glossy cabochon.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 44.5mm long including jump ring.
WEIGHT: 1.7g

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, 9ct Gold jump ring, Garnet cabochon

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Garnet cabochon is bright and glossy with no obvious chips or abrasions, and is securely set. The Gold shows crisp detailing with light surface wear to the high points and an even antique patina. The articulation and jump ring are secure, with no visible repairs.
