Sculptural and romantic, these large Victorian 9ct Gold drop earrings entwine into a classic lover’s knot. The interlaced tubular rosettes glow with a rich, high polish and are centred by a smooth Gold bead, suspended below a petite ball surmount for elegant movement in the ear.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 40mm long including hooks.
Knots measure 18.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 5.7g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: Bright, mirror-like Gold with minimal surface wear commensurate with age. The tubular knots remain crisp with only a few tiny dimples visible under close inspection; solder seams are visible as expected for period construction. Ear wires are secure and the articulated drops move smoothly.
