This large antique 9ct Gold engraved oval locket will make a charming addition to your collection! Symbolising everlasting love and friendship, this Victorian locket has been finely engraved with ivy leaves covering its entirety, and is framed by an exquisite repoussé border.

The blank cartouche in the centre allows for a personal engraving to be added if you wish, and the locket opens to reveal space for two photographs, making it the perfect sentimental gift for a loved one or special treat for yourself!

Locket is 25.5mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front, metal frames for strength & durability.

STAMPS: 9CT BACK&FRONT.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This large antique 9ct Gold engraved oval locket is in wonderful condition. The Gold is bright and buttery, and the engraved and repussé details have all remained crisp. There is minor wear inside the locket, including some scratches and discolouration, however, once your chosen photographs have been inserted, this won't be visible. The locket closes securely, allowing you to use and wear this antique Gold locket with absolute confidence!
