ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 28mm long x 22.5mm wide.
Seed Pearls graduate from 1–2mm in diameter.
Paste eyes are 1mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Red Paste, Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Pearls are well-matched with a bright lustre and no visible chips or losses; the tiny Red Paste eye is secure. The Gold shows only light surface wear and a gentle, even patina, with settings crisp and intact. No evidence of resizing or restoration; the piece has been carefully preserved and well cared for.
