Radiant, richly red and irresistibly sculptural, this Victorian Rose-Cut Garnet star pendant thrills with its bold, multi-tiered rosette silhouette. Each Garnet is tightly collet-set to create a velvety, pavé-like surface that shimmers with the wine-dark glow collectors adore.

Crafted in traditional Garnet Gold settings with a wonderfully aged patina, the pendant’s layered construction adds depth and drama to every facet. Graduating round stones are artfully arranged and punctuated by teardrop accents at the points, all finished with a secure 9ct Gold jump ring. An opulent statement of Victorian splendour, the Garnets total an estimated 3.75ct combined.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 50mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 40mm wide.
Round Garnets graduate from 1mm to 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.75ct combined.
Teardrop-shaped Garnets measure 4.5mm long x 3.5mm wide, weighing approx. 2.00ct combined.
Estimated total Garnet weight: 3.75ct.
WEIGHT: 10.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold jump ring, Garnet Gold settings, Garnet (3.75ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Garnets are bright and lively with only light natural facet wear and the odd tiny abrasion visible under magnification; all stones are secure. The collet and closed-back settings show a stable, even antique patina with minor soldering evidence to the reverse consistent with hand-finishing and age. Overall beautifully preserved and ready to wear.
