A glorious Iberian Georgian pendant ablaze with two pear-shaped Oil and Vinegar Citrines that glow a vivid reddish-orange. Hand-fabricated in Silver, the elongated form is framed by a rope-twist border and alive with pierced hearts and foliate scrolls, culminating in an articulated teardrop that dances with every movement.

The closed-back settings with breathing holes are characteristic of the period, enhancing the depth and warmth of the foiled Citrines. Bold yet elegant, this statement pendant offers approximately 2.60ct of Citrine sparkle, marrying romance and old-world craftsmanship in a jewel made to be adored.

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 63mm long including bail.
Pendant is 15mm wide.
Larger Citrine measures 15.5mm long x 9mm wide, weighing approx. 2.15ct.
Smaller Citrine measures 8mm long x 5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.44ct.
Approximate total Citrine weight: 2.60ct.
WEIGHT: 11g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Oil and Vinegar Citrine (2.60ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Citrines show light facet wear and minor abrasions commensurate with age, retaining strong colour and presence. The Silver has even patina with light surface marks and small dings from wear; settings are secure and the articulated hinge is sound. Evidence of historic solder is visible around the bale and on the reverse, stable and in keeping with the period make.
