These extraordinary Iberian earrings date to around 1780 and showcase the opulent beauty of late Georgian design. Each earring features a glowing natural 6mm Pearl centre, framed by a halo of richly coloured flat-cut Garnets in closed-back Silver settings. Above, a sparkling Rose-cut Diamond adds a hint of brilliance, completing this rare and historical combination.

Crafted in Silver with Gold hooks, these earrings encapsulate 18th-century luxury with their bold colour contrast and romantic form. An exceptional collector’s pair that perfectly captures the grandeur of the Iberian style.

ERA: Georgian c.1780 (Iberian).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings measure 35mm long from the top of the hooks.
Cluster drops measure 20mm in diameter.
Pearls are 6mm in diameter.
Garnets measure approx. 5mm long x 3.5mm wide each.
Rose-cut Diamonds are approx. 3.8mm in diameter (combined spread approx. 0.35ct).
WEIGHT: 11g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 15ct Gold Hooks, Garnet, Rose-Cut Diamond (0.35ct), Natural Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

GOOD: The Pearls show visible wear and age, and the Silver displays surface wear consistent with their 18th-century origin. The Garnets and Diamonds are secure and retain strong colour and sparkle. A very rare and characterful pair of Georgian Iberian earrings.
