These resplendent Victorian Pearl earrings are crafted entirely from bright and glossy 9ct Gold. They are intricately formed into an ornate girandole-style chandelier drop style, dancing with movement as they suspend from your lobes.

Each earring features seven iridescent Baroque Pearls which display a magnificent creamy sheen, complemented effortlessly by the warmth of the Gold. Complete with floral motifs for added Georgian charm, these antique drop earrings are a delightful pair.

Item Details

ERA: Georgian, c.1820-1830.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 43mm long from the top of the hooks.
Earrings are 20mm wide.
Pearls are each approx. 4mm in diameter.
Weight: 4.5g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Baroque Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: These earrings were expertly made in antiquity, and the fact that they've been so well preserved for many decades is a pleasure to behold! The Gold is bright and glossy, with the original Pearls intact and in equally wonderful condition. There are some small areas of discolouration to the back of the earrings where the Gold wires have been attached but this is difficult to spot without a loupe and likely to have been there since the day they were made. This is not visible when worn- the front of the earrings are bright and lustrous with good, fluid movement. The hooks are secure, providing comfortable and confident wear.
