Victorian romance with a dash of Etruscan flair, these articulated Garnet drop earrings are crafted in rich 18ct Gold. Each deep wine-red cabochon is proudly seated in a tall bezel, framed by a rope‑twist border for that refined antique finish.

The tulip-like surmounts and gentle articulation lend elegant movement, while the closed, domed backs and simple shepherd hooks complete the timeless silhouette. The Garnets offer a luscious glow with bright internal flashes, totalling approximately 10.60ct across the pair—an effortlessly chic dose of Victorian splendour for day or night.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Earring drops are 31.5mm long.
Garnets are 12mm long x 8.5mm wide x 5mm deep, weighing approx. 5.30cts each.
Total Garnet weight is approx. 10.60ct.
WEIGHT: 5.6g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet (10.60ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Garnets are bright and glossy with no eye-visible chips; any light surface wear is minimal and commensurate with age. The Gold settings are crisp with secure bezels and well-preserved applied detailing. Overall beautifully cared for with only the faintest signs of wear under magnification.
