An immaculate pair of Georgian Stuart Crystal Crystal button earrings for your collection! Steeped in history, these rare Georgian earrings have been crafted from Sterling Silver with 9ct Gold hooks and will bring opulence to your lobes.

This highly collectible pair of earrings were likely made c.1700, to silently support the legacy of King Charles I after his beheading. The Stuart Crystal has a cherry red foiling with Gold wire Cipher that makes such pieces so distinct. These antique Stuart Crystal earrings are a wonderful way to connect to a bygone era!

ERA: Georgian, c.1700.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 19.5mm from top to bottom.
Stuart Crystal 11.5mm long x 11.5mm wide.
Weight: 2.8g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver with 9ct Gold hooks, Stuart Crystal.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD. These pair of Georgian Stuart Crystal button earrings are in good condition. The earrings have lasted incredibly well, especially when considering their grand age! The face of the Stuart Crystals are crisp and wonderfully faceted, with very little wear. The foiled backs have lasted well overall, and while one of the earrings has a beautifully preserved cipher, the other has unravelled over its long life. One of the earrings has worn-down claws, but the stone remains securely in place. The backs of the earrings are smooth, and only the back of one of them has some dings to note. A fabulous collectible pair.
