A captivating Georgian half-hoop ring set with a luscious flat-cut Garnet in a low bezel, flanked by two twinkling rose-cut Diamonds. The hand-worked shoulders show delicate foliate engravings and subtle stepped details set with tiny Diamond accents.

MEASUREMENTS: Garnet measures approximately 7mm long x 6.5mm wide.
Rose-cut Diamonds measure approximately 2.5mm in diameter.
Band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 1.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Silver settings, Garnet, rose-cut Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The flat-cut Garnet shows light surface abrasions and tiny edge nicks commensurate with age, while the rose-cut Diamonds are bright with minimal wear. The hand-engraved shoulders and collet edges are softly rounded with time, with a gentle antique patina. A historic resize is visible at the back of the shank; overall the ring is beautifully preserved for its Georgian era.
